ALICE KUNST

The more you feel,
the more you see.

I want art to tell you
Something about yourself
And the world.

I want to express
The inexpressible, to uncover
You and the world
Layer by layer
As you move in
To experience it.

I want to go beyond
The traditional experience
Of art –
I look and then
I look away.
It’s a one-night
stand with it.
Too many of Our
Visual experiences
Are like this today.

The art I want to create
Must leave you
Wanting more –
Wanting you to experience
More intimacy with it.

To experience intimacy
Through art with yourself
In rippling levels of your
Own consciousness expansion.
